Passive seismic data from a rift tip on the Larsen C Ice Shelf, Antarctic Peninsula, November-December 2022

GB/NERC/BAS/PDC/02245

Abstract:
The data are seismic time series collected by accelerometers and geophones deployed radially around a rift tip stalled in the Joerg suture zone, Larsen C Ice Shelf, Antarctic Peninsula. Data were collected November-December 2022 during the RiPIce (Rift Propagation for Ice sheet models) field campaign with the aim to link seismicity to rift processes.

This work was funded by the NERC standard grant NE/T008016/1 (RiPIce).
